In this article we are going to look at the steps we will undertake to share on Digg – any article created in WordPress. For specific login details – these will vary from organisation to organisation – however herein will assume we are publishing for David Cruwys from Ideasmen.

Select the Post You Would Like to Publish on Digg from WordPress
Go into the WordPress for the site you wish to publish for instance ideasmen.com.au/wp-admin.php and sign in. Then
- Click the Posts button on the left hand navigation bar
- Click the article you wish to promote
- Ensure that you are only doing this for articles which are published – you can ratify this by the status of the article
Open the Article You Wish to Post on Digg
Now that you are only the WordPress for the actual page:
1. Hold Control and click “View Post” – which will bring up the page in a new tab
Open the Digg Share Feature
On the left hand corner of the page you will see the ability to share directly to Twitter by clicking the icon.

After clicking the aformentioned icon – the URL of the article will already be automatically filed. Then click Sign in with Twitter. If you see an authorize App window for Twitter – also be sure to click “Authorize app”.

You should then be brought a screen which wil allow you to submit the article directly by simply clicking the ‘Submit’ button
Confirming a succession submission
Upon submission you should see a Thank you screen like the one above. Screenshot this and place this in your Dropbox folder
